Verkaufszahlen ATi Radeon 8500/GF3 Ti200/500

Vor einiger Zeit wurde hier mal darüber spekuliert wie sich die Verkaufszahlen der Radeon 8500 im Vergleich zu den GF3 Ti's entwickeln werden.

Hat da jetzt jemand Zahlen dazu?

Die bekommst du nicht, zumindestens habe ich noch nie welche im Web gesehen, man muß sich mit Umfragen und Umsatzzahlen abfinden.

Muss ich mich Pengo anschliessen... nach Stückzahlen sieht man extrem selten.
Meine Zahlen wo eben ATI vor Intel und NV waren, sind mitlerweile ein Jahr alt, die waren eben nach Stück, denn Umsatz sagt NIX aus über deren Verbreitung, solange ne HiEnd Karte den Preis von 10 LowEnd hat.
Falls jemand allerdings sowas findet :)

Hab heute irgendwo gelesen daß Visiontek 42% Retail Marktanteil in den USA hat (alle Grakas), allerdings war es in einer PR-Meldung.

Pengo - ich hab das auch gelesen... aber leider stand dort Marktanteil der NV Karte im Zusammenhang mit ELSAs Verzicht auf den Retail US Markt. Damit is für mich klar der NV Retailmarkt gemeint.

Alles was ich bieten kann/darf ist die schwammige Aussage des NV Menschen Richard Huddy, wonach die Hälfte der installierten NV-userbase aus GF2 MX und GF3 besteht, was mich doch recht erstaunt hat.

Ich schau mal, ob ich den genauen Wortlaut finden kann.

The GeForce2 MX and the GeForce3 family support the mixing of depths. Previous NVIDIA hardware did not.

For informational purposes I will point out that this corresponds to roughly one half of our installed base.

Da stehts ned genau, aber ich deute es zumindest so, dass es um NV Produkte geht. ELSA verkauft ja nur diese... Ergo ist die Konkurrenz für ELSA nicht ATI.
