Hi,
habe eine sehr interessante Diskussion gefunden und möchte sie euch natürlich nicht vorenthalten

Zitiere mal das 1.Posting:
A GIANT bug foun on NFS7 Underground demo! (makes everyone as cheater.)
wanna make those awesome times under 1 minutes in circuit? or perhaps want make under 15 seconds on drag racing straight?
then test next: (at least it works for me and couple of other guys at least on online races)
- set all graphics as low as possible.
- check that you have v-sync off from graphics card options.
- go for a race!
There's a GIGANTIC bug on NFSU demo. it syncronizes running speed on frame rendering speed. This causes that you are able to cut down time something like 10-15 secs just lowering the graphics settings to minimum and even more if you overclock your system near to stability limit. This also causes that on High end systems, you can make a lot faster times than in low end systems.
Who the hell is doing Quality Assyrance on EA? heck, getting non-fps dependent simulation run speed is MAJOR principles when starting to code 3D rendering engine. (even my small OpenGL cube demo has that.) How on earth something like this can be found on demo that should be advertizing commericial game's online possibilities?
IF this failure is in full version too, I doubt that PS2 vs. PC races aren't going to be very challenging.
comments are welcome. so far I have been able make this happen at least 2 different machines with completely different system specs.
