I hope somebody speaks english... YOU CAN REAGIEREN IN DEUTSCH.

I have a problem, i want to connect my tv with my computer. I downloaded the driver from www.nvidia.com i put

Twinview-modi = kloon
BUT WITH Twinview screen I CAN ONLY USE OF Analoge monitor!!!!!!

What is wrong I should put there something with PAL TV.... WHO CAN HELP ME?!

I will give you more information about my card, Ich habe ein NVIDIA GFORCE2MX/MX400 Videokarte und ich habe from the Nvidiasite "nvidia windows 2000/xpdisplaydrivers downloaded.

I hope that somebody can help me.... I HAVE BEEN WORKING ON THIS PROBLEMS FOR HOURS NO...PLEASE HELP!THNX!

type of tv out? (s-video or composite?)

how do you connect to your tv? scart-adapter/s-video in?

tv powered on?


i´m using a Winfast Gf2MX card with BT869 TV encoder, s-video out to scart adapter, no probs at all.

You can attach it to your reply, see attachment.

max. allowed size ist 50kb, so you have to use jpg compression.

attached image has compression ratio of 1:80 and is 10kb.

Enschuldigung aber ich habe ein neue computer gekauft und ich habe noch nicht so much programmes (to create jpg).

I can tell you that i put:

TwinView mode:
* Clone

Display:
* TwinView - display: Analoge monitor

I can only choose Analoge monitor.... here I should fill in something like TV PAL...

What is happening? Grusse!

I think it´s normal that you can´t select your TV on twinview page.

If you choose clone mode, you should see your desktop content on both displays, tv & monitor.

Then within the twinview page you should see two monitor icons/symbols.
Right mouse-click on one of them and you will see the available options for that display. Here you can adjust color/brightness and also choose which of your displays is the primary one.

If you choose your TV as primary display, then (i think) you can only select TV instead of Analoge monitor.

You have to make sure the TV is powered on first.
What do you use to connect to the TV ?(S-VHS or Compsite, Scart?)

You can try to use software like the TVtool (http://www.tvtool.de/)
Works fine with my friends GF2MX400, he had the same problems.

Hi,
I downloaded tools but i get the message: Tvtools cant find tv chip.... So I went to the settings:
Displaysettings/advanged/gforce2 THERE IS NO TV ENCODES TYPE.....MENTIONED!

Graphics Processor: GeForce 2 MX/MX400 (mark Chaintech)
Bus Type:AGP
Bios Version:3.11.01.43
On Board memory: 64
(NO TV ENCODES TYPE MENTIONED)
I use XP and downloaded and instaled from www.nvidia.com the window2000xp driver.

Is this THE reason that i cant connect my tv with the computer? The strange thing is that it was working some weeks ago.

It seems like your graphics card is broken. TV encoder is not working.
