Hab' ich zufällig gerade beim Surfen gefunden:
LESSONS I'VE LEARNED PLAYING DOOM 3 in case I ever have to DESIGN OR OPERATE A MILITARY-INDUSTRIAL SCIENCE FACILITY:
1. All corridors should be extremely well lit, and organized in a logical manner.
2. Said corridor lights should have redundant power supplies in case of disaster.
3. In case of disaster on top of disaster, all employees will carry an incredibly powerful flashlight.
4. AND A ROLL OF DUCT TAPE.
5. Also in the event of disaster, all security doors will either unlock themselves immediately, or all employees will know a diaster-situation door code that will open any door regardless of your security clearance.
6. There will be no 'choke points' to access any particular area of the facility. IE, if the only way between delta labs and processing is a single rickety metal bridge, make sure there's also a service tunnel, a skyway, a monorail, AND a nice paved path with flowers along the side.
7. If I'm researching an ancient alien/extradimensional civilization and my employees complain of hearing voices or seeing things, I'll IMMEDIATELY investigate to the fullest extent possible rather than dismissing it.
8. If I know damn well I'm researching powers man hath no business meddling in, I'll take extra precautions to look for those little signs of horrible things about to happen. Then when I see them, I'll stop. Not 'investigate', I'll STOP.
9. Unusual power drains or constant malfunctions are not just bad luck. I will immediately assume they're preludes to an alien invasion and I will take appropriate measures.
10. If the people I'm sending through the teleporter keep coming back criminally insane, I'm going to stop sending people through the teleporter.
