Hier ein netter Benchmark, der die Geschwindigkeit hochoptimierter Sort-Algorithmen per CPU und GPU vergleicht. Grobe Zusammenfassung [ZITAT]: Our results on the ATI X800 XT and NVIDIA GeForce 6800 GPUs indicate better performance in comparison to the qsort routine on a 3.4 GHz Pentium IV PC [ZITAT Ende]. Die Grakas schlagen den P4 dabei um den Faktor 4-5!
