I have problems with the following sentences:
1)He looked at him IN fascination.
2)xxx, he responeded WITH indignation.
Is there a rule that advises which preposition to choose?
Why is IN correct in the first sentence while in the second WITH is correct?
this has bothered me for a long time and I cannot figure it out.
thx Peter
