TR/Virtl.WatchHook.A

Ich habe heute das Programm System Mechanic Professional 6 installiert. Nun kriege ich die Meldung das die Datei "is-0MDJR.VIR" mit dem Trojaner "TR/Virtl.WatchHook.A" infiziert is. Ist das wirklich ein Trojaner oder nur z.b. so ein Überwachungsteil von dem Proggi was fälschlicherweise als Trojaner erkannt wird?

€: eine dll datei von dem Programm is auch noch betroffen

Absolutely no viruses or malicious files are included in the iolo technologies-certified, System Mechanic installation files.

The antivirus or antispyware application is detecting the tracking files installed by System Mechanic. These files track all of the changes made to the system by System Mechanic, allowing the user to reverse changes as desired. The function of the files is similar to some known viruses, but the intent and results of the System Mechanic files are not malicious. The tracking files, as well as the information required to undo changes, are stored inside the “iolo” folder and subfolders located in Program Files.

System Mechanic also installs files that allow the application to communicate with iolo technologies servers, keeping the product current with all pertinent updates. Antivirus programs may mistake this communication as spyware or virus activity, but this is not the case.

Demnach würde ich zweitens annehmen. ;)
