Neue (alte ;-) Treiber... 94.24 OEM XP32/64 und 158.18 WHQL Vista32/64

Vielleicht wurde es ja schon in einem der anderen Threads erwähnt, aber "zur Sicherheit" hier dann noch mal explizit!

Beide (multilanguage/international) Treiber kommen von www.station-drivers.com und sind hier zu finden:

Dies ist ein OEM-Treiber von EVGA für viele, viele Grafikkarten/Chips. Er unterstützt weit mehr Gerätschaften, als dies z.Bsp. der offizielle Referenztreiber 93.71 WHQL von nVidia tut. Leider ist dies ein 'wirklicher' OEM-Treiber und ist entsprechend von EVGA modifiziert worden. Wenn also eine Installation via "Setup" nicht möglich sein sollte, dann müsste dieser über den Geräte-Manager installiert werden. Und auch das OpenGL-Subsystem ist wieder nachträglich modifiziert worden...

Anraten möchte ich diesen Treiber nicht!

Insofern sollte jeder selber wissen, ob er diesen Treiber mal antesten möchte, oder eben nicht. Derzeit bin ich mit dem offiziellen (modifizierten!) 158.19 beta von nVidia vollauf zufrieden und wenn man nun unbedingte Funktionalität (und auch FEAR ;-) haben möchte, dann sollte es der 'letzte' Series95 sein... der inoffizielle 97.95.

Nur meine Meinung, selbstverständlich...

Tjo... DAS ist der gleiche Treiber (vom 12.4.), der auch bei nVidia angeboten wird, dort aber als 'beta' gekennzeichnet ist!
Dieser Treiber enthält als einzigen (!) Zusatz eben ein WHQL-Zertifikat vom 20.4.

Wundert mich eigentlich, dass nVidia nicht mittlerer Weile diesen Treiber anstatt des 'beta' anbietet.
Oder aber das WHQL-Zertifikat wurde von einem Hersteller beantragt - wovon aber rein gar nichts zu sehen ist...

Diesen Treiber habe ich bereits unter Vista32 installiert und ja - er ist ist für meine 7900GT tatsächlich WHQL-zertifiziert!

Öhm...

Vielleicht sollte man noch dazu sagen, dass nur die englischen Version als WHQL verlinkt sind!
Und das Schöne ist... die englischen Treiber sind wirklich rein englisch... deswegen auch recht klein.
