Ubuntu & Dell D420 WLAN Problem

Hallo zusammen,

ich habe fuer meinen D420 Notebook eine WLan Karte gekauft eingebaut und ich meine auch erfolgreich den Treiber installiert zu haben. Momentan bekomme ich keine drahtlose Netzwerke mit sudo iwlist scanning angezeigt. Unter wlan1 steht stet's No scan results. Auch ueber den Network Manager bekomme ich kein Signal rein. Das Netzwerk existiert. Wie kann ich herausfinden, wieso mir unter ubuntu keine drahtlosen Netzwerke angezeigt werden?
