In Teilbereichen würde sich das bestimmt heftig anfühlen. In anderen Teilbereichen wie zb. diversen Modells müsste die Crysis Optik gegenüber ArmA aber erst einmal ordentlich nachlegen. ;)

BIA HH. Einfach nur ein geiles Spiel. Hatte gar nicht gewusst, das SO viel aus der DV herausgeschnibbelt wurde. Selbst Cutscenes wurden drastisch gekürzt.

Danke. Die Bilder stammen von den off. Enhanced Edition Zusatzquest (SE+TPoN) die beide komplett vertont sind und ein paar Stunden zusätzlich unterhalten. Sind nicht direkt mit dem Spiel verbunden, quasi Mods, aber halt vertont mit den original Sprechern.

Die Kamera in Warhead scheint da ja einige künstlerische Luft nach oben zu geben und The Witcher ist einfach ein geniales Spiel.

Du startest das Spiel im Devmode und gibst in der Console g_detachcamera 1 ein.Dann bleibt die Kamera stehen und drückst F1 und du kannst dich so davor stellen wie du möchtest.

Erstens habe ich ausschließlich die Grafik verglichen (immerhin war FC1 ja grafisch ein absoluter Überflieger, ebenso wie der inoffizielle Nachfolger Crysis), und zweitens konnte ja keiner ahnen, dass FC2 plötzlich auch spielerisch was hermacht und nicht nur auf bombastische Grafik setzt. ;)

Sobald man Crysis nicht mehr als den Grafiküberflieger ansieht, hat man also nen Horizont der weiter als nen Meter reicht was Grafik betrifft? :|
Crysis hat einzelne, ultra detailierte Level und ist FC2 eindeutig technisch überlegen (Polycount, shader), FC2 ist ein(2?) riesiges Level und muss dazu noch auf Konsolen laufen...komplett anderes Paar Schuhe. Ändert nichts daran das Crysis auf den richtigen Bildern trotzdem besser aussieht, jedenfalls sehe ich das so. Diese Grafik fordert natürlich ihren Preis, aber von nichts kommt nichts^^

Der Himmel in Far Cry 2 sieht ja mal richtig bescheiden aus! :eek:
Nahezu kein Farbverlauf. Wie ein einfarbiges Bitmap. Der Himmel muß zum Horizont hin heller werden. Da ist null Tiefe, nix. :nono:
Sowas lernt man schon im Kunstunterrricht Realschule 5. Klasse.

Der Rest sieht ja ganz passabel aus. Bis auf die Bäume, die mit ihren spitzen und zum Teil kahlen Ästen nicht von diesem Planeten sind. Dadurch sehen manche Bilder aus, wie aus einem Fantasy Game.

Nein - das habe ich so nicht gesagt. Vielen Leuten spreche ich generell einen spezifischen Horizont ab. Das ist auch nicht als Flame gemeint - Gamerforen sind dafür aber halt nun einmal ein Beleg.

Sry aber ich glaube du warst noch nie in Afrika oder? Afrika ist keine kackbraune Wüste sondern sehr sehr farbenfroh.
Die dominierende Farben ist zwar nicht dieses saftige Crysis-Grün sondern Okker, Rot, Gelb und Dunkelgrün aber naja... das ist ist ein weit verbreiteter Irrtum :)

Also FC2 mag vll. ein gutes Spiel sein, aber die Screenshots sind wirklich extrem braun. Sogar die Menschen. Das untere Bild hingegen sieht aus, als ob mal kein Kacke-Schleier vor der Linse hängt.

Naja nur läuft FC2 deutlich flüssiger bei selben Grafiksettings als Crysis. Wenn ich Cryschiß auf Medium stelle sieht es nicht besser aus, als FC2 auf High/Very high. Rennt aber wesentlich beschissener!

Aus meinen zugegebenermaßen aufs Fernsehen beschränkten Erfahrungen hatte ich den Eindruck, dass das sehr von Jahreszeit und Region abhängt.

Ich möchte nochmal dran erinnern: Konkrete Diskussionen zu FarCry 2 (auch zum Grafikstil) sind im entsprechenden Thread bzw. Forum besser aufgehoben, also bitte da weitermachen.

Die FarCry2 Bilder find schick, auch von der Farbgebung her. Ist halt nicht so bunt wie andere Spiele, sondern eher ein Tick realistischer.


Realistischer würde ich jetzt nicht sagen - es wirkt irgendwie schmutziger, oder dreckiger - imho im positiven Sinne, da es nicht so gelackt aussieht. Mich persönlich spricht der Grafikcontent total an, weil ich auf dirty Look stehe. Eines der schönsten Games, welches je in bewegten Bildern über meinen Monitor gelaufen ist. Butterweich noch dazu.....

ich hab das spiel zwar (noch?) nicht, sah es aber gestern abend bei einem kumpel....es schien schonmal mehr zu bieten als crysis...und zu einem halbwegs erwachsenen szenario gehört auch kein quietschbunter look wie farcry1 oder schnarch-baccardi-palmen crysis

Die Far Cry 2 Screens sehen extrem stimmungsvoll aus. Ich könnt mir vorstellen, dass die Umgebung nicht so überladen ist wie bei Crysis.

Ich finde es in Sins generell etwas schwieriger als etwa in Homeworld, durch die eher zweckmäßige Optik. Zum Beispiel versuche ich es zu vermeiden, die LSD-Sonnen oder andere Planeten ins Bild zu bekommen.

Btw. ich finde die FarCry 2 Bilder hier eigentlich ganz angenehm. Man könnte sich noch etwas mehr Mühe mit den Motiven machen, aber so optisch geht das doch.

Natürlich sind längst nicht alle Bilder nach meinem Geschmack, aber wieso glauben andere an meiner Stelle, dass sie deswegen Einfluss auf die Postings anderer Member nehmen müssen?
Wichtiger als die Frage nach dem dargestellten Titel finde ich die nach der Qualität der Bilder, aber statt "mach mal schönere Bilder" wird immer nur "mach gefälligst ein anderes Spiel" geschrien. Sachliche Argumente (oder gar Argumente generell): Fehlanzeige.
Solange die Motive gut sind, sollte hier alles seine Existenzberechtigung haben...

Nee, aber es ist Beta 1.5 - ich glaube die haben die Grafik generell etwas verbessert in den letzten beiden Beta-Patches.

Dead Space spart ja offenbar nicht mit Splattereffekten... :biggrin:

Finde es grafisch nicht verkehrt... Manchmal hab ich das Gefühl das Crysis (vor allem die @2 Fps Shots hier im Thread) die Empfindungsschwelle für Texturen extrem herabsetzen, da sind stimmungsvolle Shots mit durchaus netten Texturen plötzlich "Texturmatsch"... :rolleyes:

Achja, die Motorrad-Sim Bilder sind auch super! Mag aber mehr Sims mit 4 Rädern, aber die Bilder sind wirklich hübsch! :smile:

Ich tippe auf eine prophylaktische Aussage, bei der verbreiteten Texturgeilheit hier im Thread... ;)

Muss mal gucken ob es zu Dead Space eine Demo geben wird, das Spiel spricht mich vom Setting her schon an, zumindest von den Infos her die ich mir bis jetzt herangeholt habe. Naja, ich bin im Moment eh im Sacred 2 Wahn, und das Spiel kommt ja auch erst Anfang November in DE raus.

Nun, es gibt drei Modis - Arcade, Fortgeschritten und Simulation. Spiele gerade die goldene Mitte. :D Ich kann allerdings nicht sagen wie simulationslastig die Simulation ist da mir der passende Controller fehlt. Oder besser gesagt ein Adapter. Mit Tastatur macht es nur halb soviel Spaß, man muss schon was haben womit feine Dosierungen möglich sind.

Die Farbgebung ist göttlich könnten sie direkt für GTR 3 übernehmen.

Racefeeling ist genial. Wie gesagt, mit einem passenden Controller kann man auch besser an den Rundenzeiten arbeiten.

Die Zuschauer sind keine 3D-Objekte. Durch gezielten Einsatz von Blur, DoF und schöne Farbwahl sind sie imo aber gut gefaked. Sieht man ganz gut im zweiten Bild. :)

bearbeitest du deine Screens immer irgendwie nach? Sie sehen immer wesentlich Schärfer als andere aus, Farcry wirkt bei dir so Kantig kalt, sonst sieht es wesentlich weicher aus, ich fahre die gleichen Settings wie du.

Achja - benutzt doch ganz einfach PRINT SCREEN in FC2 und nicht Fraps. Die Screens sind dann im selben Ordner wie die Savegames. Praktischer und es werden auch sicher alle Effekte mitgenommen.

Das glaube ich nicht Tim. :D
Mache mal Bloom aus. Ich habe alles auf max. inkl. HDR, nur Bloom ist aus. Gefällt mir wesentlich besser. Durch Bloom ist zwar die gesamte Szene weicher, die Farben verlieren aber an Kontrast und die Texturen werden weichgespült. FC2 hat ziemlich scharfe Texturen. Bloom macht wieder alles kaputt. ;(

PS: das Feuer sieht in Bewegung extrem geil aus. :)

Nein, überhaupt nicht. Selbst mit Q nicht. :)
Bin dafür extra 10-20km/h gefahren. Bei den üblichen Geschwindigkeiten in MotoGP08 hat der Asphalt eh keine Zeit zu flimmern. :D

Viper;6865077']Sry aber ich glaube du warst noch nie in Afrika oder? Afrika ist keine kackbraune Wüste sondern sehr sehr farbenfroh.
Die dominierende Farben ist zwar nicht dieses saftige Crysis-Grün sondern Okker, Rot, Gelb und Dunkelgrün aber naja... das ist ist ein weit verbreiteter Irrtum :)

Das schlimme an Verallgemeinerungen ist, das Sie im allgemeinen nicht stimmen ;) Es kommt jawohl darauf an, wo und wann man in Afrika ist und es gibt sehr wohl settings wie in FC2.

An der Schärfe sollte sich eigentlich nichts ändern, nur Aliasing etwas verringert. Ich achte nur grundsätzlich darauf, die Spiele auch so schön wie möglich zu präsentieren.
