Introduction
I bought a F70EXR two weeks ago in australia, but I have almost no time to do a proper test or comparison with the old F200EXR. But since almost noone in the "western world" seems to have this camera, I will use this thread to post some sample images of the F70EXR.
Sorry, this is not a real test, just a short and uncompleted comparison.
I will add more images soon

"Pro Focus"-Mode
Basically this mode blurrs the background by taking two pictures and changing the focus on the second one. Have a look:
without:

with mode enabled (using "softness 3"):

But there is a downside. In ordner to work properly, the camera has to recognize a blurred background in a normal picture. So the distance to the object has to be very small. Basically, this mode only works with close-ups.

A 10x zoom in that small camera? Hell yeah!!

Pros and Cons
- Purple Fringing with F70
- better range of F70 lens (25mm-270mm vs 27mm-150mm)
- slightly better image quality with F200
- (not in the picture) 10x zoom of F70 very handy
- (not in the picture) "High Iso, Low Noise"-Mode of F70 failed totally. Looks like any other High Iso picture but with very aggressive Noise Reduction. Wouldn't even use it as a profile picture...
- (not in picture) "Pro Low Light"-Mode very good but needs a steady hand and a non-moving object. Not suitable for pictures in pubs.
- (not in picture) "Pro Focus"-Mode works only when the object is far away from the background (due to the fact that the camera has to recognize the blurred background). In 2 of 3 cases you will get the error message "cannot create effect". Results look ok.
- menu of F70 a lot easier to use than the one from F200. Takes ages to set imoortant settings like iso or whitebalance with F200 compared to F70
Conclusion
The 10x zoom and the "pro low light"-mode are really handy. The imagequality is slightly better with f200 exr, but you wouldnt notice the difference in most of the cases. Don't forget: we are still talking about a digital compact camera. F70's lens produces purple fringing in pictures.
If you need the zoom, get the F70, if not, you're better off with the F200.
