FPS Problems in CS with GF4 Mx440

Hey ive a big problen with my GeForce4
when i look a way down in CS Counter-Strike i lost fps from 99 to 40
ive taken vsync off and have a refreshtool need help plZzZZzZZ!!!

have u installed the newest VIA/SIS/NV Motherboard Driver ?

what is ur system ?

Is it so bad to have 40 fps if you look at the ground? :| Are the new enemies in CS snakes or something else? Havn't played the game for a long time ;)
