Das wär doch Quatsch: Der Installer muss sich doch nach der Sprache des verwendeten OS richten, das ist die logischste Methode - und auch absolut der Normalfall.

Er geht ja nicht nach der Sprache des Installierten OS. Ich hab Englisches Win7, aber er schlägt mir trotzdem Deutsch vor.

Auf http://my.opera.com/desktopteam/blog/ werden ja fast immer ausschließlich die internationalen Versionen angeboten, nur bei den ersten 11.00 Vorab-Versionen gab es mal keine.

sorry, falls die Frage hier schon beantwortet wurde, aber direkt konnte ich jetzt keine Antwort darauf finden:

gibt es bzw. funktioniert die urlfilter.ini unter 11 nicht mehr?
ich hab bislang immer ein Upgrade gemqcht und der funktioniert noch exakt so wie vorher auch.
Ja funktioniert noch und es gibt zusätzlich dazu Extensions mit dem Du das (ähnlich wie Adblock) aktualisieren/pflegen kannst.

Ich habe vor ein paar Tagen auf meinem Notebook eine Windows Neuinstallation gemacht und in diesem Zuge auch Opera 11.00 neu installiert und ich habe bisher nichts dergleichen feststellen können.
Selbst bei der Homepage von T-Online, die ansonsten ja mit Werbung voll ist, konnte ich nichts großartiges feststellen.

Ich war mit NoAds überhaupt nicht zufrieden und benutze jetzt wieder die urlfilter Methode. Zu viele Seiten haben bei mir nicht richtig funktioniert wie z.B. ebay oder die Kommentar-Funktion von vielen Blogs.

dito...benutze jetzt Adsweep und bin bisher mehr als zufrieden.

Na ja, so schlecht ist mein Englisch nun auch nicht, ich habe mit dem Benutzen eines englischen Opera oder Thunderbird an sich keine Probleme, nur eben ein solches Problem wie bei Opera in kurze und richtige Worte zu fassen, war jetzt im ersten Moment nicht so einfach für mich. Ich hätte es sicherlich irgendwann auch hin bekommen, aber halt nicht so schnell und einfach wie gewollt.
Die Sprache der Computerwelt und des Internets ist halt englisch und da es viele Programme, Tools etc. ausschließlich auf englisch gibt, versuche ich damit so gut es geht zurecht zu kommen. Und da dachte ich, dass es mir helfen würde Programme ebenfalls auf englisch zu benutzen, die ich schon gut kenne.

Wenn eine Seite nicht mit Noads will, liegt das wohl meist an dem integrierten Noscript. Muss man halt die Seite in die Whitelist eintragen, damit externe Scripts für die Seite gehen. Funzt bei mir beispielsweise bei mtv.de

Ich will jedenfalls nicht mehr auf die Funktionalität von Noads verzichten. Leere CSS-Ebenen sind damit jedenfalls mit ein paar Klicks für immer weg.

www.wetter.com macht bei mir gerade Probleme. Wenn ich die Seite ansurfe, bleibt das Tab leer, schneeweiß und es kommt keine Fehlermeldung. Wenn ich mir den Source der Seite angucken will, kommt auch nichts.
Content-Blocker und Noads hatte ich schon testweise deaktiviert/deinstalliert.
An was kann das noch liegen?

sorry, falls es hier schon irgedwo steht, aber ich finds grad nicht:

wie kann ich bei der 11.01 (1169) das lästige automatische gruppieren ausschalten - das nervt total - weil es nichts mit dem thema / der site der jeweiligen tabs zu tun hat.Es wird nur automatisch gruppiert wenn in den Tab Optionen (sinngemäß) "Neuen Tab neben dem aktiven öffnen" eingestellt ist.

Aufpassen bis zum Fix:

Heise.de - Kritische Luecke in Opera 10.63 und 11.00 (http://www.heise.de/newsticker/meldung/Kritische-Luecke-in-Opera-1175344.html)Ich könnte mir gut vorstellen dass dieser Bug der Hauptgrund für Version 11.01 ist. ;)

Hinter einer Funktion, die "Neuen Tab neben dem aktiven öffnen" heisst, erwarte ich genau das genannte, und nicht noch ein paar lustige Überaschungen mehr. :rolleyes:

Ok, das bringt genau nichts.

Sobald ich etwas schneller von einem Tab zum anderen wechsle mit der Maus, zieht mir diese Müllfunktion die Tabs zusammen - besonders bei angehefteten.

Sorry Leute, da habe ich den Blogpost des Desktopteams zur zweiten Build mit Tab stacking missinterpretiert. In der Build vor den RCs wurde eigentlich jegliches automatische Stacking entfernt.

Bei mir ist das nicht aktiviert.

Bevor die Installation startet erscheint zwar ein Fenster mit einer Fehlermeldung (irgendetwas von Fehler 89), aber die Installation an sich läuft ganz normal und ohne Probleme durch.

Habe auch gerade den RC2 vom 11.01 (Build 1190) installiert und bisher keine Probleme festgestellt.

Komisch finde ich, dass der RC2 auch auf dem ftp-Server von Opera zu finden ist, dort sind doch fast immer nur die finalen Versionen drauf, von ein paar wenigen Betas mal abgesehen.
Also, RC2=Final??

Wer die selbe Version hat, kann ja mal testen ob er auch auf der Homepage (war noch nie vorher drauf) von der Sparkasse landet anstatt, wie man es eigentlich vermuten würde, bei der Google-Suche.
Ja, das ist auch bei mir so. Es liegt aber weniger an "S/PDIF", sondern vielmehr an "s/". Was nach dem Schrägstrich kommt, ist egal. Das ist aber mitnichten irgendeine Form von Werbung oder ähnliches, sondern Opera ruft die Domain s.de auf. Und das ist eben die Sparkasse bzw. eine Umleitung.

Der Effekt kommt von der Fehlerkorrektur. "s/" impliziert, dass es sich um eine Domain handeln würde, bei der die TLD fehlt. Das wird entsprechend der Einstellung mit einem .de ersetzt, also kommt "s.de/" raus bzw. analog "s.de/pdif". Bug oder Feature?

Nein eigentlich nicht, denn soweit ich mich erinnern kann, gab es nach Final Releases oft (immer?) eine kleine "Pause", d. h. die nächste Build kam erst einige Zeit später raus.

Und Proxy-Management? Willst du jede Minute einen andren Proxy nutzen oder was?
Ich hatte erst NoAds, aber da es in er aktuellen Version nicht mehr zu funktionieren schien bzw. generell keine Änderungen im Vergleich zur Filterliste von Fanboy feststellen konnte, hab ichs gelassen. Kein einziges Addon drauf.

Introducing Opera 11.10 "Barracuda"

Barracuda: a sleek fish with a torpedo-like body, dagger-like teeth, and a ferocious appetite. Built to hunt in the ocean, it relies on surprise, agility, and bursts of speed to overtake its prey. The barracuda can even consume larger fish.

"Barracuda" is also the code name of the upcoming 11.10 version of the Opera browser. This is the first of a series of Opera versions where each one will have an associated code name.

The first snapshot build of Barracuda will be made available in the near future, and the full feature set will be revealed some time after that.

As a hint, we can mention that another popular Opera feature will be taken to the next level.

Sagt mal, habt ihr auch das Problem dass manche Seiten wie im (simplen) "Benutzermodus" dargestellt werden, obwohl man diesen nicht ausgewählt hat? Egal ob "Autorenmodus" oder "Benutzermodus" die Seite sieht gleicht aus...
Update von 11.00 -> 11.01 (Opera USB) hat leider nix gebracht...

Jetzt geht die Seite wieder! Hmm hatte vielleicht eine Werbung geblockt und dies hat ggf. den Effekt verursacht!

A first glimpse at Opera 11.10 “Barracuda”

We are proud to announce that the first snapshot of Opera 11.10, codename “Barracuda,” has finally arrived! Everyone here has worked hard to get this new shiny build out to you.

In this build, Core has been upgraded from version 2.7.62 to 2.8.99, which is a pretty big step forward. With this Core upgrade comes the implementation of the Web Open Font Format (WOFF).

In addition, a batch of changes to network compatibility has been implemented. The purpose of these changes is to modify our network behaviour so that we are more compatible with other web browsers.

These changes include:
Disable Cookie2 by default, with an option to enable it again
Send more compatible Accept* headers
Disable TLS 1.1 and 1.2 by default
Make sure redirects from http to https are labelled secure
Remove the use of master password for client certificates
Added a preference to disable cross-network protection

Apart from that, frequent crashes for Mac users on Facebook, Live Mail/Hotmail, and Google Docs are finally resolved.

This build is the first step towards the 11.10 release, but there's more stuff to come, so stay tuned!

Also, gestern habe ich am Rechner (Win 7 x64) ein Upgrade vom 11.01 auf den 11.10 Build 2005 gemacht. Wie schon gesagt, vor der Installation erschien die Fehlermeldung Code:89 oder so ähnlich, aber die Installation und das Benutzen den ganzen Abend funktionierte einwandfrei.
Eben gerade starte ich Opera und seit dem wird mir kaum eine Webseite angezeigt. Einzige Ausnahme scheint im Moment google.de zu sein (jetzt auch nicht mehr, war wohl eben nur Zufall), aber bei allen anderen Seiten wird mir immer Web Address Blocked angezeigt. Aber es ist nichts blockiert, die Liste unter Block Content ... ist leer.
Auch ein Neustart von Opera, ein Neustart des Rechners und eine Neuinstallation von Opera hat leider nichts gebracht. Das ist seit sehr langer Zeit das erste Mal, dass ich mal wieder mit einer Opera Build Probleme habe, wer kann mir denn bitte helfen.

Komisch. Ich habe auch ein Update durchgeführt und bislang keine Probleme auch nicht mit Extensions. Die Installation lief auch fehlerfrei durch.
Benenn doch testweise einmal deinen Profilordner um, so dass Opera ein frisches Profil erstellt.

Einer der Opera Desktop-Leute hat eine Umfrage (http://my.opera.com/haavard/blog/2011/02/18/anatomy-of-a-barracuda) gestartet, worauf sich das Team nach Meinung der Community am ehesten konzentrieren sollte. Bugfixing, neue Features oder ein Mix aus beidem. Habe für Bugfixing gestimmt.

Unter obigem Umfrage-Link ist ein Blog-Eintrag, laut dem das 11.10-Changelog längst nicht alle vorgenommenen Änderungen aufzählt.

Ich habe keine Extensions installiert. Ich habe den Rechner am Donnerstag ausgeschaltet, am Freitag wieder eingeschaltet, Opera gestartet und das Problem war da.

Also, ich habe mir jetzt doch mal die Mühe gemacht und alle einzelnen Dateien nacheinander vom alten (umbenannten) Opera-Ordner in den neu erstellten Opera-Ordner kopiert und ersetzt und nach jedem einzelnen Kopieren habe ich Opera neugestartet, um die "bösartige" Datei zu finden.
Ich habe sie gefunden und es handelt sich um die Datei "urlfilter". Nach dem ich diese Datei aus dem alten (wieder zurück umbenannten) Opera-Ordner herauskopiert hatte, läuft Opera wieder ganz normal.
Heißt natürlich, dass ich wieder reichlich Werbung habe. :(

Ok, ich habe jetzt erst einmal 'NoAds' installiert, ist zwar nicht ganz so effektiv wie die 'urlfilter.ini', aber besser als gar nichts.

Kann es eigentlich sein, dass mehr und mehr Google-Dienste Probleme machen?

- Mail, das dynamische Interface, funktioniert nur bei 1/3 Loads - lädt die Oberfläche mit einem JS-Fehler gar nicht
- Maps, Routen (also die blauen Linien) werden nicht mehr angezeigt
- Maps, bei Klick auf Bildern erscheint das Balloon mit dem Foto nur manchmal oder flackert

Kann das wer bestätigen?

Kriegt es Opera eigentlich nicht langsam mal auf die Reihe, ihre Youtube-Profil-Probleme zu beheben. Man kann die Videofavorites nicht anklicken. Warum kann dieser Browser nicht einfach funktionieren wie alle anderen auch?

Die Favoriten in Profilen? Funktioniert bei mir problemlos. Verlink doch mal ein konkretes Beispiel.

Ersetz mal am Anfang die Zeile direkt unter [include], die mit so einem Sonderzeichen beginnt, durch ein Sternchen *
Dann sollte das wieder klappen.
Meine urlfilter.ini hat übrigens knapp 10 KB ;)

Was solln das mit den ganzen UUID Einträgen?Die braucht Opera Link um Einträge eindeutig zu identifizieren.

Nein, Opera ist bei mir so schnell wie sonst auch bzw. jetzt mit reparierter urlfilter.ini ist Opera sogar wieder schneller als mit NoAds!!!

I can tell you're impressed, so let's dig deeper to see exactly why it is so cool. The elements are incorrectly nested: the innermost element - in this case, the - should be the first one closed. What does this do to the DOM in different browsers?

We can check this out using Opera Dragonfly and its equivalents, or Ian Hickson's DOM viewer. Internet Explorer 9 and Safari 5 result in this innerHTML:

All the browsers have sorted out the mis-nesting, but inconsistently: note that IE and Safari have an additional empty element that Opera, Firefox and Chrome don't have. Which is correct? In an HTML4 world, both are. The HTML4 spec describes what to do with good markup, but not what to do with bad markup - and we know that 95% of the Web doesn't validate. Therefore, browsers have traditionally been left to their own devices and forced to guess what to do with bad markup, as error-handling was never defined for HTML4.

Our simple markup above already produces very different DOMs, so imagine what would result from more real world examples of tag soup with dozens or hundreds of elements. Writing JavaScript that has to operate across browsers with such inconsistencies is a major cause of hair loss and weeping amongst web developers.

Luckily, there is now a solution to this.
The HTML5 parsing algorithm

The HTML5 specification defines a set of parsing rules for all markup, whether valid or invalid. Once all browsers have HTML5 parsers, the same markup will produce the same DOM across all conforming browsers. There are two main effects of this:
JavaScripters will sport cheerful grins and bouffant hair
Consumers can expect fewer interoperability problems when using their favourite site between browsers
So validation is a thing of the past, right?

Absolutely not. It's still a vital QA tool, and just because the HTML5 parser will produce an interoperable DOM, it doesn't mean it's the DOM you actually want!

Opera's implementation

Our old HTML parser has basically been the same since Opera began 15 years ago. It's been continually patched to keep up with changing standards and countless different ways people came up with to not follow the specifications. After all the changes here and there, the code really started to look like a over-decorated christmas tree, and adding more stuff without knocking over the tree was getting increasingly hard.

With the decision to rewrite the entire parser came the opportunity to clean up the design significantly.

We can now proudly say that the new Ragnarök parser has a 99.9% pass-rate on an extensive test suite based on the html5lib tests for the parser part of the HTML 5 specification. The missing last 0.1% is going to be fixed before Ragnarök's golden release. The test suite will also be publicly released once completed so that you can verify it yourself and compare Opera to the other browsers out there.

Ragnarök also scores 11 out of 11 (plus two bonus points) on the somewhat non-comprehensive (and therefore rather misleading) html5test.com. (The two bonus points are for parsing embedded SVG and MathML in HTML5.)

Memory consumption

The main reason we kept our old parser for so long was its efficient memory usage when handling bad markup. Instead of duplicating nodes like the HTML5 specification states, our parser had a intricate system of pointers that indicated which nodes should have been duplicated. This saved it from allocating memory to actually duplicating the element data, but also made the code that traversed the data structure more complex. Now we have switched to copying the nodes, it uses slightly more memory. Before the final release we will minimize that side effect — Opera has always been about memory efficiency, and working on smaller devices too.
Performance

It's not obvious now, because this technical preview isn't optimized for speed like the golden releases will be, but another advantage of the rewrite has been an increase in parser performance. Since the time taken parsing the markup of a page is relatively small compared to loading and rendering, this will not affect benchmarks dramatically, but all performance improvements are for the better, right?

Sehe ich das richtig, diese Version 11.50 Build 24581 (Rangnarok) ist eine separate Geschichte und wird parallel zum 11.10 entwickelt (vor allen Dingen wurde die 11.50 ja auch nicht vom Desktop Team veröffentlicht) und es wird noch weitere 11.10 Builds geben oder wurde da ein Sprung von 11.10 auf 11.50 gemacht??? :confused:

Tja, bei mir "funktioniert" die Speeddial nicht mehr richtig, eingestellt ist immer noch 3x5, aber angezeigt wird 4x4.
Ja, das ist "by design", ich hatte hier auch 5x3 wovon 2 Stück noch leeren waren. Daraus hat er bei mir auch ein 4x4 Raster gebaut, wobei in der vierten Zeile der 13. Speedial, dann das fette [+] und dann zwei leere Plätze kommen.

Mach das Programmfenster mal schmaler! Die Speeddials brechen dann um wie Text, so dass man die sogar scrollen kann, wobei dieses scrollen auf meinem P4@3200 sehr ruckelig passiert. Aber ich hoffe ja immer noch auf GPU-Beschleunigung in 11.10, auch unter WinXP. Würde zumindest den Sprung in den Buildnummern von 1190 auf 2005 erklären, nur für die Core- und Speeddial-Fixes werden sie ja nicht über 800 Build gebraucht haben...!?

Ich hoffe nicht, denn ich habe bei mir ja absichtlich 3x5 ausgewählt. Am Rechner könnte ja mehr anzeigen lassen, aber wenn ich die Speeddials mit Opera Link synchronisieren lasse, dann wird das ja am Notebook nicht richtig dargestellt.
Ich kann mir nämlich nicht vorstellen, dass die Speedials aus Opera Link heraus genommen werden sollen.

Kann es sein, dass man in früheren Versionen die einzelnen Symbolleisten (Tableiste, Statusleiste, Adressleiste etc.) noch relativ frei umherschieben und vertauschen konnte, man mit der aktuellen 11er aber die vorgegebene Anordnung der Symbolleisten zu akzeptieren hat? Nervt mich ziemlich...

Hmm, ich bin jetzt am Rechner auch auf die neueste Build 2014 gegangen und dort werden die Speeddials noch wieder anders angezeigt???:confused:
Eingestellt war/ist wie beim Notebook 3x5. Das wurde jetzt zwar auch zwangsweise auf 16 Fenster gestellt, aber auf 3 Reihen mit 5 Fenstern und 1 Reihe mit einem Fenster??? :confused:

Our hardware acceleration is a bit different from what other browsers are doing. Like IE9 and Firefox 4, we do full hardware acceleration of all draw operations - but unlike those browsers, who only offer this acceleration on Windows Vista and Windows 7, our implementation will run on any OS with sufficient hardware support. This means we can have full hardware acceleration on Windows XP, Linux, Mac OS X and OpenGL ES 2 capable devices such as recent smart-phones and web-enabled TVs.

Disclaimer: this is not a stable build – it is an early preview of upcoming technologies in Opera. Neither WebGL nor hardware acceleration will be included in the upcoming release of Opera 11.10 for desktop. Some other aspects, such as SVG rendering, may not work correctly. We will continue working on these new features – fixing on all remaining bugs and optimizing our code – and we will release further preview builds to keep you up to date with our progress.

ATI cards will probably require a manual download of the latest Catalyst driver for OpenGL support. Same problem with NVIDIA cards?

I think any gfx card with OpenGL support will work. We'll add DirectX support too, so this won't be a problem later on.

WebM Videos bei Youtube haben bei mir fast doppelt so hohe CPU Last wie ohne HWB. 3D Canvas ist aber ganz nett, und läuft schon ganz ok.

Klink hat ne Radeon, AcmE und ich eine GTX (FW 266.58) - vielleicht liegts daran, dass vom Treiber aus schon manches nicht unterstützt wird?

Den "conformance/tex-image-and-sub-image-2d-with-array-buffer-view.html" Test hab ich nochmal extra laufen lassen, dann hats bei mir auch alle davon bestanden. Vielleicht entsteht durch einen vorherigen Test ein Zustand, unter dem dann Fehler auftreten.

Nebenbei bemerkt funktioniert bei mir das Scrolling schlechter als ohne HWB (hab smooth scrolling an).

Ich habe es bei mir als portable installiert und einfach mein Profil rüberkopiert.
Also stabil läufts schonmal, jedoch auf der ein oder anderen Seite mal etwas was nicht funktioniert

Also, die neue Build 2033 läuft soweit gut, nur bei den Speed Dials gibt es für mich ein "Problem".
Die Beschreibung der "neuen" Speed Dials habe ich ja (ich hoffe schon :D) verstanden. Jede Seite in den Speed Dials wird nach einem Logo, Namen o. ä. abgesucht und dann wird der Bereich um das Logo/Namen herum vergrößert in der Speed Dial angezeigt, damit man eher/besser sehen kann welche Seite das ist?? Richtig so ja??
Nur ist jetzt meine Frage, ob man die Speed Dials auch wieder auf die vorherige Einstellung zurück stellen kann und wenn ja wie??

Ich habe heute wieder festgestellt dass Opera mit Flash 10.2.152.32 nach einigen Minuten/Stunden den Browser bei 100% CPU-Last einfriert. Das UI reagiert immer schlechter bis gar nix mehr geht. Mit Flash 10.1 ist das definitiv nicht so. Und nein, ich finde es nicht toll eine Flash-Version mit Sicherheitsproblemen zu nutzen... :rolleyes: :mad:

Also ich habe wie immer ein Upgrade meiner bestehenden Installation gemacht, aktuell eben von Build 2040 auf 2042, aber dieses Mal wurden einfach die Bookmarks und Speed Dials "installiert", die man auch bekommt, wenn man Opera ganz neu installiert. Das fand ich irgendwie nicht gut. :(

Bei mir noch immer zwei. Das Design von manchen phpBB 3 ist erst zerstört und nach dem beenden von Opera ist der Prozess noch immer am laufen = kann danach nicht Opera starten, sondern muss den Prozess beenden. :freak:
Vielleicht ist aber eine komplett neuinstalierung fällig.

Nein, denn so etwas sehe ich nicht als Problem an, das war zwar etwas ärgerlich, aber es hat nicht die Funktion des Browsers beeinträchtigt und ich hatte/habe keine Abstürze oder Fehlfunktionen!!! Das sind für mich Probleme mit einem Programm!!

Das mit gog.com kann ich bei mir nicht bestätigen, die Seite wird sofort beim ersten Mal vollständig und korrekt angezeigt.

Hmm WBB lädt nicht mehr komplett und die Speed Dials zeigen nur noch die oberen X Pixel eine Webseite statt wie vorher die Miniatur des ganzen Screens.. schade..

edit: WBB geht nach löschen des Caches das mit gog.com kann ich bestätigen

Es soll halt das Logo oder der Name der Webseite stark hervor gehoben werden, damit man besser/schneller erkennen kann, um welche Seite es sich handelt.

Einen üblen Speicherleck hat die aktuelle Build aber auch noch. Derzeit 1.6 GB Ram-Usage und steigt wohl bis zum Absturz. Egal, neustart geht ja fix.

Jop, aber nicht erst die aktuelle. Habe ich schon seit Wochen. Besonders übel, wenn man was streamt und nebenbei Google Maps aufruft. Da ging in einer vorigen Build dann gar nichts mehr, bis zum Systemfreeze (den ich dann aber noch abfangen konnte).

Vielleicht ist aber eine komplett neuinstalierung fällig.
Installiere Opera doch als USB-Version in einen neuen Ordner. Wenn das Problem dann immer noch besteht kannst du dir die Neuinstallation schenken.

wer seine speeddial thumbnails wieder normal aussehen lassen will, stellt kurz den reload intervall auf irgendwas anderes als "nie" und ladet das bild neu. danach einfach wieder auf "nie" stellen :)

find die neue speeddial eh etwas müllig... vor allem diesen riesigen + button :/ man kann zwar über opera:config#UserPrefs|SpeedDialState den wert auf 2 setzen, aber dann kann man an der speeddial nichts mehr machen :ugly:

Schön und gut, aber beim nächsten Reload wird wieder die neue Ansicht geladen und angezeigt. :(

Vor allen Dingen würde mich mehr interessieren, wie man das evtl. wieder hin bekommt, dass man die Speed Dial selber konfigurieren kann.
