(XBLA) Burnout CRASH

Electronic Arts revealed today that Criterion Games is returning Burnout to its roots, focusing on the series’ fan-favorite Crash mode, as Burnout CRASH! is currently in development for XBLA.

Burnout CRASH! invites players to wreak havoc behind the wheel as they crash into and destroy everything in sight. Autolog technology makes its return as well, allowing players to compete against each other to see who can cause the most damage.

The game will feature "three explosive game modes available across 18 crash junctions in six unique locations". As we've come to expect from the team behind Burnout, there will be a variety of cars to unlock, targets to destroy and other surprise features to be discovered.


Richard Franke, Creative Director for Burnout CRASH!, said:

Burnout CRASH! is a crazy mix of pinball and game shows. We’ve evolved the core gameplay which everyone loved about Crash Mode, and expanded the whole experience using music, style and Autolog to create what we feel is the most mindless fun you can have on any gaming platform.

Wusste nicht das Burnout je aussah wie GTA 1....einfach nur crap.
Die sollen sich hinsetzen und ein neues gutes Burnout machen,mit mix aus Burnout 3 und Paradise.
Nicht die Energie verschwenden mit so einem kack.

Versteh das Geheule nicht. An diesem Projekt wird sicherlich nicht ganz Criterion arbeiten und Downloadspiele sind heutzutage häufig eine gute Bereicherung für die Spielevielfalt.
Jetzt anhand von 2 Screenshots über die Qualität zu urteilen ist lächerlich. Lara Croft: GoL hat es doch gut vorgemacht und war ein unterhaltsames Spiel.

Und schon im Threadtitel Stimmung gegen das Spiel zu machen ist für mich einfach crap. Achja, es erscheint auch noch fürs PSN, aber du machst deine Threads ja grundsätzlich nie mit Multitag auf. Für die 360 gibt es noch einen Kinect Partymodus.


edit: Ok, ich habe nun ein Gameplayvideo gesehen, wahrscheinlich vom Kinectmodus. Sieht wirklich "nicht so gut aus". Dennoch nur ein Downloadspiel. Bei Zerstörungswut greife ich dann aber doch lieber zu PAIN.

Kennt noch jemand die Crash Kreuzungen aus Burnout 2? Nicht die Scheisse mit dem Multiplikator, wo man das Auto noch in der Luft lenken konnte und nochmal in die Luft jagen konnte.

Sowas hätte ich gerne wieder.

Warum erstellt der TS dann überhaupt einen Thread, wenn er es doch so crappy findet?
Ein Beitrag im Sammelthread hätte es auch getan. ^^

Erst dachte ich: "Wieso erscheint das nicht auf den PC?" und jetzt bin ich froh darüber.
Wieso nutzt man nicht einfach die vorhandene Engine?
Ich habe Burnout Revenge auf deer 360 geliebt (und es sieht heutzutage imho immer noch gut aus), Paradise hat mich nur enttäuscht und dieser Download-Ableger macht mich leider auch nicht an :(

Um euch zu informieren.

Ich dachte eigentlich das Burnout CRASH ein Retail titel wird.
Da der Name schon länger gesichert war,aber Criterion ja an Hot Pursuit gearbeitet hat,nun aber fertig ist und an Burnout arbeiten könnte ?
Aber naja....nix draus geworden....
