Interessant, dass es dazu noch keinen Thread gibt (oder ich überseh ihn ;D ): Ubuntu hat ein Android vorgestellt, was sich parallel zu Android auf einem Smartphone installieren lässt. Man hat also quasi seinen Desktop immer dabei. Aus Mark Shuttleworths Blog (http://www.markshuttleworth.com/archives/1011):

Motorola hat mit dem Altrix ja was ähnliches vorgestellt. Leider waren die Tests davon nicht so positiv ;(
Eine ARM-CPU reicht für vieles aus, hier mal Benchmarks (http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=article&item=ubuntu_1204_armfeb&num=1) mit einem OMAP ARMv7-Board, Atom N270, Pentuin M 750 und Core Duo T2400. Dazu eine halbwegs vernünftige GPU und schnellen Flash-Speicher. Mit einer ARM15 CPU dürfte das ganz noch besser werden :)
Damit könnte ich auf der Stelle etwa 3-4 Geräte ersetzen. Vielleicht gibt es ja auch ein Tablet mit sowas installiert :) Ein Asus Transformer mit dem Unlock sollte sowas ja ermöglichen.
