Hallo, wenn wir hier in der Firma eine Mail an amadeu-antonio-stiftung.de schicken wollen kommt die Fehlermeldung

Der Fehler dürfte ja nicht an unserem System liegen?

Im Netz findet sich da nur etwas, dass die mydestination im Postfix ausgefüllt werden muss, das müsste dann aber natürlich beim Empfänger geschehen(?).

Ein traceroute auf den mit dig -t max gefundenen mail2.cnt.net führt allerdings auf den mail.cnt.net, kann da was beim DNS nicht stimmen?

Bzw. unser Server heißt soweit ich weiß auch mail, da kann es ja auch zu Problemen kommen, wenn 2 Server gleich heißen?

Den Mailserver hatte ich ja schon mit dig -t max gefunden, mit traceroute wollte ich gucken ob man auch da ankommt wo man hin soll.

Du hast ja schon gesagt, dass euer Mailserver auch mail heißt. Die Mail verlässt den Postfix Server nie.
Ihr habt das heftige Problem, dass eure interne Domain auf .de endet. (das ist verwirrend, weil sich externe und interne DNS Namen mischen) Aber das ist ein anderes Thema. mail.dij.de wird zu mail, weil dij.de euer DNS-Namesearch ist, also der Teil, der eingefügt wird, wenn keine tld angegeben wird.

Sorry, da ist mir oben ein Fehler unterlaufen, ging von einer anderen Konfiguration aus. Ich hoffe, ich hab mich halbwegs verständlich ausgedrückt.
Aber dir den Fehler nun zu nennen - schwierig. Tritt das Problem generell auf oder nur bei dieser Adresse?

Aha, danke. Den Verdacht hatte ich auch, aber unser "Superlinuxadmin" meinte das Problem liegt 100% nicht bei uns (deswegen frage ich auch hier nach).
Problem gibt es bislang nur bei dieser Adresse also *@amadeu-antonio-stiftung.de auf.

Die mydestination im Postfix ist leer, ich habe probehalber die "Lösung" aus dem Internet mit mydestination = localhost.$mydomain, localhost, mail.example.com probiert, aber keine Abhilfe.

Was steht denn in /var/log/mail.info (manchmal auch /var/log/mail.log?)

Übrigens siehst du, was Postfix eingestellt hat, wenn du "postconf" ausführst.

Aaah, damn. Ich hab den Fehler vielleicht gefunden. Geh mal auf den Postfix mailserver und tippe ein:
"host -t mx amadeu-antonio-stiftung.de"
Und setzte mydestination auf localhost, wenn er eh keine Mails annehmen soll, sondern nur mailout ist.
Ok, die Postfix Readme sagt: "Caution: in order to avoid mail delivery loops, you must list all hostnames of the machine, including $myhostname, and localhost.$mydomain."
Aber dein Problem ist in diesem Fall noch was anderes.

Woher DNS kommt, was DNS macht, sind immer so ein paar Schuhe, die nie an Füße gehen. Das hängt immer davon ab, was eingestellt ist. Hatte schon die wildesten DNS Verstrickungen.

Grundsätzlich kommt euer DNS aber primär vom Exchange/ADS, denn das muss so sein. Und wer weiß, ob der Postfix Mailserver nicht verkonfiguriert ist?

Sieht aus, als ob da irgendwo eine alte Regel drinne ist, die mittlerweile anders interpretiert wird.

In der mail.info sollten die Sachen dann stehen. :)

So weit ich es mitbekommen habe, geht es um diese Stiftung, was nicht zu euch gehört. So gesehen kannst du unter /etc/postfix einmal ein "grep -i stiftung *" machen, um sämtliche Dateien von Postfix nach dem Begriff Stiftung suchen zu lassen. Dabei solltest du nichts finden und falls doch was gefunden wird, einmal nachschauen, was genau gefunden wurde.

Jein. Das Problem ist, dass man einige Angaben auch unter anderen Sachen stellen kann (myhostname zum Beispiel) und diese an anderen Stellen übergibt anstatt mydomain. Ist nicht sehr schön, geht aber.
Das dji.de sollte irgendwo auch in der main.cf stehen. Grob schwebt mir irgendwas mit receive domains im Hinterkopf rum, aber auch die schnelle nachschauen, kann ich momentan nicht (keine Lust bei mir postfix zu installieren und beruflich mach ich gerade was anderes).

mail ist da definitiv falsch.
Ob da dji.de stehen sollte oder nicht, hängt davon ab, ob er für die Domäne dji.de die Mails annimmt oder nicht. Aber ich vermute, dass er das nicht macht.

Zuständig ist der Linuxadmin hier, aber der hat ja auch die Linuxserver auf einem Stand von 2008 laufen lassen und wenn es irgendein Problem gibt, heißt es immer erstmal, dass das ja nicht bei ihm liegt.

grep -i stiftung * führt zu keinem Ergebnis.

Das ist in jedem Fall schlecht. Was aber komisch ist:

DNS sagt:

a) wieso relay???
b) wieso mail.cnt.net, während er pben doch mit einem Wert von 10 "securemail.cnt.net" angibt.

Oh, ok: securemail.cnt.net is an alias for mail.cnt.net.
Damit ist mir b) klar, aber a - was will er da denn relayen? Das klingt schon so, als ob er denkt, er könnte zuständig sein.
Edit: Müll geschrieben.
mydomain kommt auf die Domain.tld, also dji.de und myhostname kommt auf mail.dji.de - so würde ich das sehen:

Also relay steht glaube ich immer da, hier mal was für eine Test Mail von mir an meine Gmail Adresse:

Ok, hatte nicht nachschauen wollen. (hab Urlaub ^^) Dann ists gut.

Du könntest theoretisch ein Testsystem anlegen mit der Postfix Konfiguration und testen. Testen dann am besten mit Telnet:

Also zuerst mit Mail als mydomain und dann mit domain.tld, also dji.de
