EVGA wird AMD Mainboards anbieten

A new nine-second teaser from EVGA suggests that an X570 motherboard is in the works. The news comes as a shock to the hardware world as EVGA has never produced a motherboard with an AMD chipset before.
It's common knowledge that EVGA has strong ties with Nvidia and Intel, which explains why you never see AMD motherboards or Radeon graphics cards come out of EVGA's factory. Some might argue that EVGA has made motherboards for AMD processors in the past, such as the EVGA nForce 730a. Technically, they weren't AMD motherboards per say since they utilized Nvidia's chipsets.

Interessant, ich habe ein paar Kollegen, die bereits massive EVGA-Fans sind, die aber bisher von AMD Abstand genommen hatten. Mal sehen ...

Ich finde jetzt nicht dass das Thema in das Spekulatiusforum passt. Das ist ja eine offizielle Ankündigung von EVGA. Zossel hat schon recht dass das eher eine 2t klassige News ist, kein Spekulationsthema.


Kann gut sein dass sie den Ball erstmal flach halten und in x570s mainboard als Test heraus bringen wie der Markt reagiert bevor man sich da voll committed. Der 5950x ist ja praktisch auch eine HEDT CPU, nur eben im mainstreamsockel und der x570 hat genug PCIe Gen4 Lanes für Multi GPU setups.

Bei der Legacy von EVGA sollte es aber auch mal was mit TR4 geben. EVGA hat ja eine legendäre HEDT Geschichte, mit dem SR-2 etc.
Passt auch super zu Workstations mit multiplen 3090/ A100 Karten aufgrund der vielen PCIe Lanes.
