Achja, weiss einer ein einfaches Tool mit dem ich die Taktraten der GPU "live" auslesen kann? Würde das gerne mal genauer untersuchen um zu sehen wann die Karte wirklich mit den angegeben 450Mhz läuft und wann nicht.
Hatte ich zufällig heute auch probiert. Geht sicher mit RivaTuner. Ich hatte nvclock benutzt (im etc-Ordner von 3DProf, siehe meine Sig). Ist ein Kommandozeilen-Programm, wodurch man es aus einem Batchfile in einer Schleife aufrufen kann, um auch zu sehen wie die Taktraten sind, während man im Vollbildmodus des Spiels ist. (Natürlich erst hinterher, wenn man die in eine Datei umgeleiteten Ausgaben ansieht).
Habe festgestellt, dass z.B. das runtertakten von 3D-übertaktet nach 2D-untertaktet erst noch über den Default-3D-Takt als Zwischenstufe geht, aber nicht über den Default-2D-Takt.

Es gibt schon einige Merwürdigkeiten. Habe jetzt mal auf Basis von nvclock einen Takt-Logger (http://home.tiscalinet.de/bertw/proj/tdprof/misc/nvclock-dll-dist.zip) geschrieben der das Testen vereinfacht. Bei Project64 passiert z.B. folgendes: Ohne FSAA/AA bleibt die FX im 2D Takt solange Project64 im Fenstermodus ist. Durch Wechseln in Vollbildmodus springt sie manchmal dann auf 3D Takt, aber nicht immer.
Mit FSAA/AF gehts sie zuverlässig in den 3D Modus, aber auch erst nachdem das Spiel ein paar Sekunden läuft.
Im Ersten Fall (ohne FSAA/AF) hat sie beim Rückwechseln auch den 3D-Default-Takt ausgelassen.
Vielleicht zeigt das Programm auch nicht alles korrekt an. Habe mal die Ausleseintervalle stark verkürzt um das "Takteinstellung Testen" und "Auto Takt Erkennung" des Detonators zu beobachten. Bei Testen läuft die Karte nur für weniger als eine Sekunde mit dem zu testenden Takt und die ganze restliche Zeit werden vielleicht irgendwelche erzeugten Daten kontrolliert?
